Amanda Dale Webb, 14, died March 19, 2007, at Baker City.
Her memorial service was March 25 at the Ojai United Methodist Church in Ojai, Calif. The Rev. David Burgeson officiated. Interment was at the Ojai United Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
Amanda was born Dec. 25, 1992, at Ventura, Calif., and had been a Ventura County resident for 13 years before moving to Oregon recently. She was a graduate of Sheridan Way Elementary School and attended DeAnza Middle School. She was an eighth-grader at Baker Middle School.
Amanda loved spending time with her family and friends. She had fun shopping and loved listening to music.
Amanda excelled in school and was looking forward to attending high school. She enjoyed singing in the children’s choir and serving as an acolyte while attending Ojai United Methodist Church. She adored cats, turtles, frogs and, most recently, giraffes.
Survivors include her parents, Ron and Becky Webb, and younger brother, Adam Webb, all of Baker City; great-grandmothers, Dene Hays and Colleen Brubaker, both of Ventura, Calif.; grandparents, Tom and Peggy Brubaker of Ventura, grandfather, David Easton of Burbank, Calif., and grandparents, Jim and Rose Keeter of Baker City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made in Amanda’s name to Ojai United Methodist Church.
Coles Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
