Gaston County, North Carolina Cemetery Transcriptions

Last Updated on May 2, 2013 by Dennis

North Carolina Cemetery records are listed by county then name of cemetery within the North Carolina county. Most of these are complete indices at the time of transcription, however, in some cases we list the listing when it is only a partial listing.

  1. Greetings,
I’m interested in knowing how cemetery information and data is collected and posted on this site, or any genealogy site. There is a cemetery in Dallas, Gaston County, North Carolina that can not be found on any of the transcript projects.

The cemetery is Long Creek Baptist Memorial. It took me years of foot work to find this cemetery. I was always directed to Long Creek Presbyterian but they are indeed two separate cemeteries. Long Creek Baptist is historic and holds at least 250 graves that are well maintained.

I’d be willing to help collect data with photo’s. Any information on who to contact would be very much appreciated.
