Wilson, Rita – Obituary

Rita Wilson, 69, died April 5, 2007, at her home in Baker City.

Her funeral was today at 2 p.m. at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St. Pastor Bruce Smith of the New Beginnings Fellowship Pentecostal Church of God will officiate. After the service, friends and family are invited to a reception afterward at the church at 1820 Estes St.

Rita lived at Elkhorn Village where she left behind many dear friends. She was a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Pentecostal Church of God, and has left behind many sisters and brothers of the church.

She was born July 29, 1937, at San Francisco and had always loved the coast. She loved to fish and go for long rides in the mountains. She had numerous animals throughout her life, which she loved dearly.

Survivors include five children, Roy McNutt of Texas, Teri Pilkington of Portland, Donna Triplett of Klamath Falls, Carla Rowland of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Michael Calaway of Baker City; three grandchildren, Brian Triplett, Caitlyn Calaway and Alayna Calaway; and a brother, Bob Stafford, of Florida.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help pay funeral expenses through Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St., Baker City, OR 97814.
