Follansbe Carroll

Follansbe Carroll, born in November 1769, moved to Croydon in 1772 and married Sarah Carroll in 1789. They had a son, John Follansbe Carroll, who married Keziah Hardy and relocated to Cornish in 1837. Their children included Aurilla Adaline, Henry, Sarah J., Elizabeth A., Henry L., Ella M., and Foster P. John Follansbe died in 1879, with his wife passing in 1880. The family experienced both success and loss, with various descendants marrying and bearing children.

Daniel Elliott Carroll

Daniel Elliott Carroll resided in Cornish from 1857 to 1880 and was a great-grandson of Daniel Carroll, brother to Samuel. Born in Croydon on November 1, 1817, he married Sophronia Burt and had three children before marrying Lucy Parker in 1876. He passed away in March 1899. His children included Daniel E. Jr., Julia R., and Dora A., each of whom married and had families, continuing the Carroll lineage in the region.

Ezekiel Abbott

Ezekiel Abbott was born in Bradford on February 13, 1796. He married Phoebe Morse in 1823 and moved to Cornish, where he worked as a carpenter and builder. They later relocated to Bradford and then Manchester, where he passed away on September 29, 1880. The couple had four children, all born on Cornish Flat: Oscar, a physician; Egbert, also a carpenter; Cornelia, who married Albert Flint; and Charlotte, who wed James Wilkins. Phoebe died in 1875, and Cornelia passed away in 1900.
