Funeral Services for Otto B. Wilson 75, of Forest Grove, native and nearly a life long resident of western Washington county, will be conducted Friday at the Fuiten-Friesen Mortuary Chapel, Forest Grove.
Mr. Wilson died early Tuesday morning at a Hillsboro hospital following an extended illness.
The Rev. Robert Alliston, associate pastor of the First Christian Church of Forest Grove, will officiate at the services with Dave Fuiten as soloist and Mrs. Robert Dobias, organist.
Concluding rites and interment will be at the Forest Grove cemetery, Forest Grove.
Otto Blaine Wilson was born near Roy, July 10, 1889, the son of James H.and Annnie Bellinger(this is the death certificate of one of those I sent) Wilson. His parents were early residents of this area. Mr. Wilson had spent almost his entire lifetime in the Roy. Timber and Forest Grove communities. He spent most of his lifetime as a machinist, working for some years for the railroad at Timber. Before retirement he worked at the machine shop on Elm Street in Forest Grove.
Mr. Wilson lived at the Ida Willburg residence at Timber for many years.
The widow Mabel Watson Wilson, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs Edith Winter of Corvallis and Mrs. Al (Wanda) Smith of Portland’ his step-mother, Mrs. Rosie Wilson of Hillsboro; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Mager of Inglewood, CA, and three grandchildren, Thomas G. Winter, Judy and Scott Drake.
