The death of Miss Georgia, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eakin occurred at the family home in Union at noon, Monday, January 22, 1900, aged nineteen years.
Death resulted from an attack of typhoid fever. The funeral was held Tuesday and was largely attended by friends of the family from La Grande. – Chronicle.
