Batty, Alma J. Fuller Mrs. – Obituary

Alma J. Batty, 71, of Bandon, a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 31, 2006, of natural causes.

She was born on May 27, 1935, at Baker City to Fred and Teresa Fuller. She was raised and educated in Baker City and attended Eastern Oregon University at La Grande.

She married Clinton Batty on Aug. 28, 1955. The couple originally lived at Madras. They had lived at Brookings from 1970 to 1979 before moving to Bandon. Mrs. Batty was employed by the Bandon School District until her retirement.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards and Bible study. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church at Coquille.
Survivors include daughters, Sara Panter of Bandon and Jennifer Batty of Portland; sons, Michael Batty of Brookings and Daniel Batty of Springfield; a sister, Fern Rundall of Eugene; brothers, Bob Fuller of Delaware and John Fuller of College Park, Wash.; and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
