Brooklyn Building and Loan Ass’n; Republican; member of Council, one term, as alderman; when the board was established, member of fire committee in 2nd. District; deputy director of Public Works, for 4 years, under Robert E. McKisson; member Tippecanoe and Western Reserve Clubs, and Union League Club; member Syrian Lodge, No. 370, A. F. & A. M., and other Masonic bodies; member Memorial Post, G. A. R., and Elks Lodge, No. 18.
