Poe and Ida O. Poe; 1897, employed by City of Cleveland helping to lay out City Park System along Rockefeller Parkway and Shaker Heights; with Brown Hoisting Machine Co., designing and detailing several large coal and ore-handling installations, including a coal unloading crane for the Panama Canal; with The Forest City Steel & Iron Co., on several large mill and office buildings, including the Rockefeller Bldg.; with Wellman-Seaver-Morgan Co., as chief draughtsman of structural dept., on coal and ore-handling machinery; has had personal supervision of one 100-ton Floating Crane, two 150-ton Floating Cranes, four beam and four Chamber Cranes for the United States Government at Panama; member American Society of Civil Engineers, Cleveland Engineering Socity, Chamber of Industry, and Lakewood Tennis Club.
