Entered the service May 26, 1918, at Winston-Salem, N.C. Was sent to Camp Jackson, S. C., May 27, 1918. From there was transferred to Camp Sevier, S. C., and from there was sent to Camp Upton, N. Y. Sailed for France Sept. 11, 1918. Fought at Vosges Mts., Meuse-Argonne. Mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., June 4, 1919.
