  1. The bio on Marion Watson seems to indicate that he was of Cherokee blood. The William Payne mentioned as his grandfather, was my gg grandfather. Williams first wife, Abigail Jorden was my gg grandmother. Their daughter, Rhoda Payne, was my g grandmother who married Jessie edwards. I was told, by my father, that Rhoda was Cherokee , but I have been unable to find any verification of that. Could the Marion Watson evidence of Cherokee connection help me?
