“Whereas NICHOLAS DAVIS, late of Rhode Island, merchant, dyed intestate, leaving an estate upon the which Sarah his relict hath refused to administer or to intermeddle therein.” Mr. Jeronymus Ebbing of this city, merchant, Dr. Henry Taylor of this city and Mr. John Bound of Flushing, creditors, are appointed administrators, February 20, 1672/3. Thomas Gibbs is appointed instead of Jeronynms Ebbing.
