List of the members of the Baptist Church in Sardinia, Erie County, New York

Sardinia Baptist Church, Sardinia, New York
The present Sardinia Town Hall was the first Baptist Church in the area, built in 1829, dedicated in 1830.

A list of the members of the Sardinia, Erie County, N. Y., Baptist Church. It was the first Baptist Church organized in this section. It was 20 miles to the nearest church of that denomination at the time it was organized. The first book is lost, but in the book that they now have the Church Clerk had re-copied the names at first, the men in one section and the women in another. Some of the later clerks failed to give the dates of all that joined, and each new clerk re-copied the list of those that were in good standing, so the record is not in as good a shape as it might be.
