Schauffler, Fred; real estate; born, Millersburg, O., Nov. 24, 1876; son of Carl and Amelia Joss Schauffler; married, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Oct. 16, 1909, Nina Knickerbocker; served in Co. L., 14th U. S. Infantry, during Philippine insurrection, and Boxer uprising in China, 1898-1900; with The N. Y. Central Lines from April, 1905, to July, 1911, first three years in clerical capacity, last three as traveling land agt.; in July, 1911, opened offices in Cleveland to handle factory property, still at it; pres. Schauffler Realty Co., and Factory Building Co.; member Cleveland Real Estate Board and Chamber of Commerce.
