Word was received Saturday by C.M Billings that his sister, Ida, had died of pneumonia at Deer Lodge, Montana, and was to be taken to Portland for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Billings and baby left on the afternoon train for Portland. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Augustus A. Belden, veteran of the Civil war, died at the home of his daughter at 6210 58 Ave., S.E. Portland, Oregon, September 5, 1921. He suffered from a stroke of paralysis over a year ago. Increasing weakness for four weeks caused from a fall resulted in capillary pneumonia, which was the immediate cause of his death. Elsberry, Keith – Obituary

Lostine, Wallowa County, Oregon Keith Elsberry, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Elsberry, died at Parma, Idaho, Wednesday, July 10, of spotted fever. He was a grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hedges, former residents of Lostine. The Elsberry family had been camping in the woods near Parma, when the child was bitten by the tick. He did not respond to medical treatment. Funeral services were held Friday, July 12, at Parma.
