Glen Edward Madison, 92, of Clarkston, Wash., died April 3, 2008 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Glen was born near Bartlett Oregon on Grouse Flat. Glen was a WWII Veteran. He was a farmer, musician, fisherman, friend, and father. Glen is survived by his children Randy and Evelyn Madison, Rhonda and Tom Trullinger, Lynda and George Augir, Carol and Wes Promise, Dan Martin, Carl Martin, Diane Martin, and Lori Ann Martin. She graduated with honors from Wallowa High School in 1936. She walked the five miles to Wallowa High School and returned daily unless some kind person gave her a ride. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Died Coming To Town Nina Louise Lydell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lydell, died Sunday evening while the family was coming to Enterprise from their home near Imnaha. When the family started from their home in the morning the child seemed to be in its usual health but on the way the child was taken violently ill and before medical aid could be reached died in the wagon. Julius A. Balter was suddenly stricken by heart disease while cranking his car at a point about one half mile this side of Elgin on Sunday, September 12th.
