Baker City, Baker County, Oregon Mrs. Myrtle Ann Myers, 62, 923 Walnut St., died Sunday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Beatty Chapel. Mrs. Myers was born in Fayette County, W. Va., and came with her parents to Wallowa County in 1905. They settled in the Powatka area; she was married in Baker on Dec. 15, 1917, to Porter Myers, who survives her. Since 1950, she had been employed by Mr. and Mrs. John B. Rogers. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Lawrence W.Kimble was born at Benton, Pa, June 16, 1871. Died in Enterprise, Sunday, October 6th, 1918. When Lawrence was five years of age his parents and family moved to Springfield, Illinois where they remained seven years, then moving to Minnesota. They returned to the old home in Pennsylvania where they now reside. Arthur E. Cousins, 93, a retired sheepherder and farmer, died Aug. 16 at the local hospital. He was the son of Samuel J. and Elizabeth Cousins and was born April 24, 1877 in Pickrell, Neb. He came to Wallowa County 83 years ago. Graveside services were today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. in the Enterprise cemetery, with Rev. Lester T. Wells officiating. He has no known survivors. Beith, Warren

Wallowa, Wallowa County, Oregon Warren Beith died at the home of his father in Wallowa, Tuesday evening, Dec. 17th of pneumonia following an attack of the “flu.” He had been sick for several days. A brother who is in the army at Camp Fremont, is on his way home but was too late to see his brother. Funeral services were held Wednesday from the home. Quinn, Lillian – Obituary

Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Wallowa County native, Lillian Melissa Quinn, died Sept. 1, 1989, at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1904, at Joseph, the daughter of John and Bessie (Halsey) Simmons. On April 21, 1921, she married Ernest E. Quinn, at Enterprise. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1967. She was a lifelong resident of Wallowa County. Survivors include daughters, Margaret Stein, Cecile Lay and Lois Delancy; one sister, Edna Mae Radford; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
