Mrs. Myrtle Ann Myers, 62, 923 Walnut St., died Sunday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Beatty Chapel.
Mrs. Myers was born in Fayette County, W. Va., and came with her parents to Wallowa County in 1905. They settled in the Powatka area; she was married in Baker on Dec. 15, 1917, to Porter Myers, who survives her. Since 1950, she had been employed by Mr. and Mrs. John B. Rogers.
Her other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Geils, New Bridge, Mrs. Virginia Martin, Toledo, Ore., and Mrs. LaDone Crisp, Pine Tops, N.C.; one son, Robert Myers, Baker; one sister, Mrs. Maude Fraiser, Walla Walla, Wash.; five brothers, William and Roy Collins, Wallowa, Andy and Lloyd Collins, Walla Walla, and Howard Collins, Fullerton, Calif., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
