Gasset, William B. – Obituary

Funeral services were held at Union Dec. 11 at 10 o’clock for William B. Gasset, aged 56, who passed away at Nampa, Ida., Dec. 6. He was buried in the family plot at Lower Cove. Pneumonia was the cause of his death. He had been a resident of Cove and Union until the past few years. He is survived by a widow and two daughters besides numerous other relatives. James “Yogi” Frades, 62, of Clarksburg, Calif., and formerly of Union, died Sept. 15 at the Sacramento V.A. Medical Center. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Oct. 20 at Union Cemetery. River Cities Mortuary was in charge of initial services. James was born Nov. 19, 1944, to Ray and Edith (Wigglesworth) Frades in La Grande. Lostine, Wallowa County, Oregon Blanche Elizabeth Repplinger, 81, died August 13, 1982, at her home Lynnwood, Wash. She was a former resident of Lostine. Born Oct. 5, 1910, in Union, she was married to Leslie A. Repplinger on Jan. 2, 1930, in Enterprise. The couple made their home in Lostine until his death March 21, 1971, when Mrs. Repplinger moved away from Wallowa County.
