Emmett E. Woodruff died suddenly at his home five miles from Union at 5:30 o’clock last Sunday evening November 3. He was 68 years of age the 26th of October. He had been in poor health for some time but he was able to be up and around and his condition was not considered critical. He was born at Pickering Village, Ontario, Canada, October 26, 1861. Mr. Ash was born Nov. 9, 1910, to Ulysses Yaudes and Eve Belle Mayes Ash in Riddle. He was raised on a farm and attended a trade school in Los Angeles to learn to be an electrician.
