Chester E. Gorbett Dies at Hermiston. Chester Everett Gorbett, of Hermiston, formerly of Promise, passed away at his home July 12 at the age of 86 years and 9 months. He was born at Colton, Ore. Oct. 13, 1877, one of seven children born to Joshau and Orintha Gorbett. He spent his entire life in Oregon. He was united in marriage to Bessie Phillips April 2, 1905.
