Baker City, Oregon Carlon M. McBroom, 69, of Baker City, died Jan. 1, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Health Services. His funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St. Baker City Amvets will conduct the service. Visitations will be today until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Carlon was born Dec. 16, 1934, at Bernie, Mo., to Ada Belle and Joseph McBroom. He attended school in Richland, graduating from Eagle Valley High School in 1952. Medlin, Raymond C. – Obituary

Raymond C. Medlin, 87, a longtime resident of Baker City, died at St. Elizabeth Health Services Saturday, January 22, 2005. A private interment was held at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mr. Medlin was born August 1, 1917, in Bernie, Missouri, to Lapolean and Ida (White) Medlin. He and his family moved to Baker City from Missouri in 1949, where he worked for Clyde Ward for several years.
