Baker City, Baker County, Oregon Robert M. Beason, 81, a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 28, 2002 at Eugene. At his request, no memorial service will be held. Mr. Beason attended local schools, and graduated from Baker High School as class president in 1939. He worked for the Bonneville Corps of Engineers for many years. He served his country during World War II in the European theater. He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Cone, of Eugene.
