Mrs, Dorothy Beryl Emele, 38, 2515 11th Street, died this morning at her home after a long illness.
She was born Dec. 9, 1915, in Richfield, Idaho, the daughter of Jay and Minnie May Dixon. She lived most of her life in Baker and attended school at St. Francis Academy. She was married April 14, 1934, in Baker to Donald Franklin Emele.
Mrs. Emele was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles auxiliary and a member of the Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband; son, Richard D. Emele, Baker; mother, Mrs. Minnie May Dixon, Baker; brothers, Delmar Dixon and Darwin, both of Baker, and Darold of Wallowa; sister, Mrs. Doris DeBord, Westwood, Calif.; grandmother, Mrs. Cora Carter , Burney, Cal.; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited in Beatty Chapel Sunday evening at 7:30. Funeral mass will be said Monday morning at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
