Saunders, 78, 2350 Ash St., will be conducted Monday, June 21, at 2 p.m. in the Langrell Mortuary chapel with Pastor Marvin Carr of the first Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Baker Veterans Service Organizations conducting graveside honors. Mr. Saunders was born in Baker Sept. 19, 1897 to Samuel Saunders and Lou Della Morse Saunders. In 1917 he was one of the first men from Baker County to enlist in the Army.
