Eveline Nee and settled in Portsmouth, Va. Supervisor of Construction of Boilers for the U. S. Government for 25 years. They had: 1. Robert James: b. 1900. 2. Frank Hatton: of Wash., D. C.; b. 1904. 3. Marshall Crane: (artist) b. 1906. 4. Norman Niquet: (U. S. Navy) b. 1909. 5. Eveline May: b. 1913. 6. Gordon Nee: b. 1915. All the Allens who are direct descendants of Robert and Sarah Underwood Allen are located throughout York Co., Pa.; Baltimore and Balto Co., Md. The late ex-Senator N. D. R. Allen, of Towson, Md., was son of Lewis Allen. He was county surveyor for a number of years, a lawyer of note and prominent in politics.
