Arthur Delbert Rose, 87, died Friday, Sept 30, 1994, at the Grande Ronde Retirement Residence, La Grande, after an extended illness. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Enterprise Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Morrison officiating. Bollman Funeral Home of Enterprise is in charge of the arrangements. Roop, Helen Dora – Obituary

Wallowa, Wallowa County, Oregon Helen Dora, the eleven months old babe of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Roop, died at the home Tuesday morning of acute indigestion. She had always been well until a few days before she was stricken. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Bogue from the home and interment made in the Wallowa cemetery. Charlton French Roop, 92, of Enterprise, died at Wallowa Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 7, 1997. Mr. Roop was born July 5, 1904, to Franklin Monroe and Ida (Hawley) Roop at Middlepoint near Promise. He was a lumber grader by trade, both at Bowman-Hicks and Bates lumber companies in Wallowa. Wallowa, Wallowa County, Oregon Local people were grieved to learn through a telegram to Mrs. Mae McGregor, of the death last Wednesday morning, Dec. 5 of J.C. Rooney, merchant of Wallowa and who with his son Norval conducted a meat market and grocery in North Powder until early this fall. He died at Clarkston, Wash., after a protracted illness. Mrs. Fred Rich, resident of Wallowa for the last 48 years, passed away Friday morning (May 29, 1936) following a lingering illness. While the end came somewhat suddenly, she had been in failing health for more than a year and her recovery had long been despaired of.
