Geneva Bronson, 97, of Yakima, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 1998 in Crescent Convalescent Center. She was born on June 17, 1900 to Frank and Anna (Michels) Uebelacker in Ellensburg, WA where she was raised and educated. She and her husband resided in San Jose, California, where Mrs. Bronson was a first grade teacher at Willow Glen Elementary School for many years. She has resided in Yakima for the past fifteen years.
She is survived by two nephews, Don Uebelacker and wife Anna of Yakima and Bill Uebelacker and wife Jean of Milwaukee, Oregon; numerous great nieces and nephews, and her dear friend and companion, Gwen McCullough of Yakima. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Bronson; three brothers; and seven sisters; including her twin sister, Alvena [Elvira] Waggoner.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Chapel. Entombment will be in the Oak Hill Mausoleum in San Jose, CA.
