The family then purchased property on Wingville Road to build a house, raise cattle, sheep, milk cows and to involve the kids in 4-H. The family was always active in the 4-H program and also in the LDS church functions following the great example of their parents.
In 1979, Glen married Elnora “Elly” Rawlings at the Ogden Temple. Elly had three children, Mark Luker, Kathy Perrenoud and Mike Davis. Glen and Elly raised cows, goats and registered poodles. Glen retired from Chevron in 1986. He spent his last six months of work in Pasco, Wash.
