Bingham, Lucille – Obituary

Lucille McClellan Bingham, 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Union on June 15. A funeral service will be held at the Union LDS Church on June 23. Born on January 9, 1920, she married Lavon Webster Bingham in 1948 and raised their three daughters after relocating to Oregon in 1931. Lucille had a long career in food service and was an active member of her church. She is survived by her two daughters, numerous grandchildren, and friends, and was predeceased by her husband and a daughter.

Hoffman, Jasmine Johnette Garrett Mrs – Obituary

Mrs. Jasmine Johnette Hoffman, aged 71, passed away on Wednesday following a brief illness. Born on January 27, 1900, in Bountiful, Utah, she moved to Eastern Oregon in 1903 and spent much of her life in Eagle Valley. She was married to George William Hoffman in 1915 and operated various cafes in Richland and Baker after working in shipyards during World War II. She is survived by four children, several siblings, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at the Christian Church in Richland.

Davis, Glen J. – Obituary

Glen J. Davis, aged 76, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away on January 15, 2006. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, followed by a graveside service in Logan, Utah. Born on May 20, 1929, in Logan, he served in the Army and National Guard, graduated high school in 1947, and worked at Standard Oil. A dedicated family man and community member, Glen was active in 4-H and the LDS Church. He retired in 1986 and later served a mission in the Philippines.
