Of Concord, N.C., Cabarrus County. Entered the service at Concord, N.C., Sept. 6, 1918. Reported to Camp Jackson and later transferred to Camp Hill, Va. Then transferred back to Camp Jackson, where he was mustered out of the service on Jan. 25, 1919.
