Ward Alva Yocom, 80, died Wednesday [October 27, 1982] in a Reno hospital. A native of Ellensburg, Wash., he was born June 28, 1902. He served in the Army during World War II. From 1951 to 1964, he lived in Port Orchard, Wash., with his family. He was an electrician for I.B.E.W. in Seattle, Wash., traveling extensively throughout the U.S. In 1964 he moved to Reno, though he continued to travel.
