A genealogy of the Lake family of Great Egg Harbour in Old Gloucester County in New Jersey : descended from John Lade of Gravesend, Long Island; with notes on the Gravesend and Staten Island branches of the family. This volume of nearly 400 pages includes a coat-of-arms in colors, two charts, and nearly fifty full page illustrations – portraits, old homes, samplers, etc. The coat-of-arms shown in the frontspiece is an unusually good example of the heraldic art!
Funeral services for Amos D. Robinette, 77, of Newbridge, a lifetime Baker county resident, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday Feb. 12, 1970 at Christian Church at Richland, Oregon. Leora Sharp will officiate and the Pine Masonic Lodge No. 149 A.F. & A.M. will participate. Interment will follow in the family plot at Eagle Valley Cemetery, Richland, Oregon. Mr. Robinette was born on New Years Day, Jan. 1, 1893 at Robinette, Oregon, the son of pioneer parents, James E. and Eva Lincoln Robinette. Mr. Robinette’s father James E. homesteaded at Robinette and the township was named in his honor.
