Penrick

James T. Penick was born on April 30, 1848, in Todd County, Kentucky, to Nathan and Nancy H. Penick. The family originally came from Virginia and settled in Green County before moving to Todd County in 1847. James T. is one of thirteen siblings and has pursued both farming and merchandising. He became the Tax Assessor of Todd County in 1878 and was re-elected in 1882. He married Mattie M. Hancock in 1870, and they have five children. He is a Democrat and a member of the Christian Church.
