George O’Brien, 72, a pioneer Washington state resident and a resident of this city and area for the past 40 years, died this morning at the Valley General hospital [January 30, 1951]. He was a farmer and farm worker. A native of Wisconsin, he came to this state in 1892. He had been a widower for the past 20 years.
