Mrs. Margaret Molstrom, aged 82, a pioneer of this vicinity, died this morning [March 12, 1931] at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Somppi. She was born in Haaparanta, Sweden, November 30, 1848. At the age of 17 she moved to Trondjem, Norway. Here she was married to Henry Molstrom on June 24, 1873. Mr. and Mrs. Molstrom moved to Calumet, Michigan in the same year. William Molstrom, aged 50 died yesterday [February 14, 1935] after a heart attack. He is survived by his brothers, Abe Molstrom, John Molstrom, Henry Molstrom, and sisters, Marie H. Nelson, Mamie Somppi, Anna M. Littlejohn. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Bomboy Funeral Home, with Rev. A. F. Van Slyke pastor of the Christian Church officiating. Abe I. Molstrom, 70, well known Adams farmer, died early yesterday morning [June 2, 1946] in Portland, where he had gone to meet Mrs. Molstrom, who had been visiting their daughter, Miss Daphne Molstrom in Seattle. He had farmed in the Adams region for 45 years. Besides his widow and Miss Daphne Molstrom, he is survived by a son, Frank Molstrom of Adams, and two brothers, John Molstrom of Adams, Henry Molstrom of Echo, and three sisters, Mrs. David H. Elsie Lee Molstrom, 85, died early Sunday morning [July 31, 1966] at the home of her son, Frank. Mrs. Molstrom was born in Pendleton Oct. 13, 1880. She was married to Abe Molstrom at Lee’s Crossing, now known as Sparks Station, June 16, 1901. He died June 2, 1946. She was the daughter of William Bowman and Xantippe Bowman. Survivors besides the son are a daughter, Daphne Schwenn of Seattle, Wash., and a sister, Rova Bomboy of Pendleton. Funeral notice will be published later. John A. Molstrom, 93, Adams pioneer rancher, died Monday [August 7, 1967] at Pendleton Community Hospital. Mr. Molstrom was born June 6, 1873 in Calumet, Mich.
