Edward Jasper Dies Wednesday; Burial Saturday Edward D. Jasper aged 53, died at the Grande Ronde hospital Wednesday afternoon after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. J. George Walz in charge. The burial service will take place in the Island City cemetery with the Blue Mountain grange in charge. Pallbearers were announced today as M. C. Funeral Scheduled For Ella Jasper Funeral services for Ella Jasper, 80, who died Thursday at Meridian, Idaho, following a long illness, will be held at the graveside in Summerville cemetery Sunday at 2 p.m. Mrs. Jasper was a resident of Union county nearly all her life, having moved to Meridian in 1920. She was the daughter of the late pioneers, Mr. and Mrs. David Boswell of Cove. Frank Jasper, 85, Dies In Ukiah Frank Jasper, 85, retired farmer and minister of Ukiah, Calif., died Saturday in Ukiah of an extended illness. Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Dempsey’s Funeral Chapel. Rev. Boone White will officiate, and burial will be in the Summerville cemetery. Mrs. Lina Jasper, 80, retired homemaker of Lakeport, Calif., and former resident of the Union County area, died in Lakeport of an extended illness Tuesday. George M. Jasper Dies In Idaho Funeral services for George M. Jasper, who died Wednesday at his home in Meridian, Ida., will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Snodgrass chapel. Mr. Jasper was 75 years old and a native of Corvallis, but he spent most of his early life in Cove. He was an uncle of Mrs. Frank Conley, Cove.
