Old Resident Of Rock Creek Buried At Haines Eleazer W. Crain, died at the home of his grand niece, Mrs. Armand W. Perkins in the Rock Creek district Friday night of last week. Death is attributed to old age. Mr. Crain was born in Wisconsin and from that state he moved to Kansas and later crossed the plains by wagon to the Oregon country. He was a veteran of the Civil war, having been enlisted with an Iowa Infantry division.
