Colt and is survived by four children and a sister. Her funeral services are scheduled for Monday afternoon at the Snodgrass and Zimmerman chapel, with burial at Summerville cemetery.

Colt, Asahel J. – Obituary

Funeral services for Asahel J. Colt, a pioneer of Summerville, Oregon, took place at Snodgrass Funeral Home, led by Rev. Gene Robinson. Miss May Colt, 73, passed away at a local hospital in La Grande, Oregon. A lifelong resident of Union County, she was an active member of the Jewel Rebecca Lodge and the Union County Historical Society. Services are scheduled for Saturday at Daniels Funeral Home, with burial at Summerville cemetery. She is survived by two sisters, 11 nieces and nephews, and 20 great-nieces and nephews.

Colt, Phebe Brook Mrs. – Obituary

Mrs. Phebe Brook Colt, an Eastern Oregon pioneer and long-time resident of Summerville, passed away on August 4, 1934, at the age of 95. Born in England in 1838, she emigrated to New York at age seven and married Joseph Hetzel Colt in 1863. The couple traversed the plains, eventually settling in Baker County before moving to Summerville. Funeral services will be held at the Summerville chapel on August 7, with Rev. Paul DeF. Mortimore officiating. She is survived by three sons and numerous grandchildren.
