Edmund Ingalls, son of Robert, was born about 1598 in Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, England. He immigrated in 1628 to Salem, Massachusetts and with his brother, Francis, founded Lynn, Massachusetts in 1629. He married Ann, fathered nine children, and died in 1648.

Barger, Cyrus W. – Obituary

Cyrus W. Barger, a renowned stagecoach driver in the Northwest, passed away at age 76 in Portland. He was interred in Silverton, with his old whip and a horse-drawn hearse as per his wishes. Barger was among the notable Overland stage drivers of his time, remembered by many from the Baker area. His death marks the loss of a significant figure in the region’s transportation history.
