Buster Brown Tiffany, 91, of Baker City, died Sept. 19, 2006.
His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, 1919 Second St. Pastor Jack Bynum will officiate. There will be a reception afterward at the church.
Buster was born on May 9, 1915, at Eureka, Mont., to Mertin Miles and Mandy Elizabeth Tiffany. He was the third of 17 children. All but Elwood and Laura, who still live in Montana, died earlier.
Buster was a loving and generous person. Many, many Baker City residents have been the recipients of his wonderful work in his gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 14 brothers and sisters; two children; his last wife, Anna Pauline Hutton Tiffany; and his previous wife, Pauline Mildred Tiffany.
Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Jean Tiffany Gomez and her children, Gary Raines, Mike Raines, Randy Raines, Francisco Gomez, Yolanda Gomez and Sabrina Gomez; 11 great-grandchildren from Barbara’s family; his stepdaughters, Juanita Gillespie and Jane Rotan; his stepchildren, Lorene and Bud Lewis, Neal and Marlene Bork, Ernest Hutton, Karen and Erving Logan and Ron and Doris Hutton; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; he was especially close to his niece, Tillie Conard of Eureka, Mont.
