La Grande Resident Succumbs
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Rogers, 74, and a resident of La Grande for the past 30 years died Friday morning.
Among her survivors are four sons, William of Lebanon, Roy of Roseburg, Lewis of Tigard and Leonard of Port Angeles, Wash., and five daughters, Mrs. Stella Shirley, Mrs. Jessie Denning and Mrs. Adelia Sanderson, all of La Grande; Mrs. Mary O’Brien of Cheyenne Wyo., and Mrs. Enna Amos of Santa Monica, Calif.
Bishop Grant Bean of the Second Ward, L.D.S. church presided at the funeral services Sunday afternoon. Interment was in the family lot in the Masonic cemetery.
