Lostine Resident Passes Suddenly
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Howard C. Stover of the Enterprise Community church were held in Lostine at 10 o’clock Monday morning for Roy H. Haun of Lostine, who passed away suddenly last Friday at his home.
The church was filled with a large number of friends who came to pay their last respects. Masons from over the county attended in a group. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
The body was taken to La Grande for burial.
Roy Hayhurst Haun was born near Lostine May 15, 1886. He attended the Pendleton Academy for a time. On Dec. 26, 1909, he was united in marriage with Miss Leila Spencer.
Mr. Haun was a member of the Masonic and Eastern Star lodges.
Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Kathlene Beichel of la Grande and Mrs. Fern Moroney of San Francisco; his father, James Haun of La Grande; two brothers, Ralph Haun of Lostine and Dr. James Haun of La Grande, and one sister, Mrs. Edith Clark of La Grande.
