Baker City, Oregon

Lonna Dolby, 66, of Baker City, died on May 5, 2007, at her home.

Her memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St. Sister Kay Marie Duncan of Pathway Hospice will officiate. There will be a reception afterward at the Elks Lodge, 1896 Second St.

Lonna was born on June 3, 1940, at Stayton to Lawrence “Skip” and Nadyne Shaffer Moreland. She grew up in the Stayton area where she attended schools.

She married Ron Dolby on Sept. 17, 1960, at Stayton. They enjoyed 46 great years together.

She was a bookkeeper for many years, working first at Salem and then Eugene and Baker City. She finished her working career as office supervisor for Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry; twin sister, Donna, and brother-in-law, Jim Albus.

Survivors include her husband, Ron, and their three children, Brian of Baker City, Tami Randall of Milwaukie and Craig and his wife, Shiela, of Baker City; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Darren and Kailey Dolby, and their mother, Karlynn Dolby, Derek, Dena and Dylan Randall, and their father, Eric Randall, and Tyson and Kayla Dolby; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Wirth and her husband, Bucky, of Medical Springs and Betty Jean Dwyer and her husband, George, of Medford; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends or a charity of one’s choice through Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St., Baker City, OR 97814.
