Clark, Myrtle Faye – Obituary

Myrtle Faye Sanders Clark died April 19, 2007, at the Wallowa Valley Care Center. She was 92.

Mrs. Clark was born May 13, 1914, in Ellington, Missouri to Isaac and Iva Myers. She attended school in Ellington, dropping out her senior year to marry Otho Sanders on May 31, 1931.

Mrs. Clark spent the rest of her life being a caring and loving mother to her six children and their offspring.

She was an active member in the Baptist church. In January 1980, Otho Sanders died, just short of their 50th wedding anniversary. She married Charles E. Clark in July of 1984. The couple moved to Enterprise in 1990 to be near her children. She enjoyed her life with Charles and the two of them would often go for drives and enjoy dinner at a local cafe.

She is survived by her husband Charles of Enterprise; daughter Delores and Dick Carrera of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter Beverly and Ron Journigan of Union; Bud and Judy Sanders of Joseph; Bid and Polly Sanders of Mountain Home, Idaho; daughter Marcella Raines of Madras; step-daughters Barbara Wassom and Carolyn Lipscomb; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was also a second mother to four nieces and nephews: Glenda Stuart, Jim Nichols, Donald Nichols, and Berta Goodin. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister, one infant son and two granddaughters.

Services have been held.
