Audrey Irene Church, 88, of Elgin, died March 14 at Grande Ronde Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Elgin Baptist Church, 800 N. 13th Ave., with burial to follow at the Elgin Cemetery. Loveland Funeral Chapel and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
Audrey was born March 31, 1919, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, to Sam and Margaret (Bratin) Smith. She married Fred Church on June 28, 1941, in Nampa, Idaho. They moved to Mount Harris in 1946, then to Union in 1956 and to Elgin in 1964.
She was an active member of the Elgin Baptist Church, and dearly loved her church and her family.
She is survived by her children, Tom Church and his wife Betty Jean of Elgin, and Robin Church of La Grande; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, son David, grandson Tommy, sister Lucille Little and David Smith and Woody Smith.
