Funeral for Goldie Marie Bowman will be 10 a.m. Monday at Folsom-Bishop Funeral Chapel, Pendleton, with burial at Olney Cemetery, Pendleton. Mrs. Bowman, 79, Pendleton, died Wednesday, June 19, 1985, at her home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1905 at Bremerton, Wash., the daughter of Charles and Mary Abigail (Sevy) Emery. On Feb. 25, 1925 she married Robert L. Bowman. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
The Bowmans farmed on the Bowman family ranch until retirement but continued to reside at the ranch. Mrs. Bowman enjoyed sewing, cooking, and mountains and berry picking, and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has been a resident of Pendleton for 62 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Bowman, Pendleton; sons, Tilden Bowman, Meacham, and Duane Bowman, Pendleton; daughters, Leora Burr, Ontario, and Helen Coles, Portland; a sister, Hazel Barnes, Pendleton; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
