Bonham, Wayne F. – Obituary

Wayne F. Bonham, 62, a former Baker City resident, died Sept. 17, 2005, at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Wash.

His graveside funeral was at 3 p.m. today at the Weston Cemetery.

Wayne was born on Feb. 16, 1943, at Baker City to Martin Ford and Mary Ann Bonham. He attended local schools and graduated from Baker High School. Later he attended Blue Mountain Community College at Pendleton for two years.

He married Linda Eichner and they lived in Pendleton. Wayne worked at various occupations while in Pendleton including the Pendleton Woolen Mills for several years.

They moved to Weston and he worked for Lewis IGA and for the past several years he had worked for Suzi’s Handy Mart at Weston. The Bonhams were divorced.

Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, the mountains, fishing and photography and he had a special interest in cats.

Survivors include his daughters, Tricia Givens of Weston and Christine Bonham of Portland; a son, John Bonham of Cle Elum, Wash.; a sister, Cheryl Bonham of Weston; and his grandson, Keifer Givens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Society or to St. Mary Regional Cancer Center through the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main St., Milton-Freewater, OR 97862.
