Mary Estell Allen Funeral Rites Set
Mary Estelle Allen, 63, a housewife living at Union died at her home on Wednesday, June 4 after a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9 at the Union Community Methodist Church at 2 p.m.. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. The Rev. Gene Robinson will officiate. Daniels Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Allen was born in High Valley in Union County on November 1, 1894. She had been a resident of Union and the area all her life. She was a member of Mountain Gem Rebekah Lodge 53 at Union.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Allen of Union; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Jan of Molalla; a brother, Lewis Davis of Portland and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Church of Baker and Lula Burford of Lancaster, Calif.
