Telocaset, Union County, Oregon
Mrs. Maude Elsie Becker, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Snider, of Telocaset, died at Baker June 16, and was interred at Union Saturday last, services by Rev. Pratt of Cove.
Maude Elsie Becker, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Snider, was born July 24, 1887, at Mansfield, Ohio, died June 26, 1918, at Baker, Ore., age 30 years, 11 months and two days. She came to Washington with her parents at the age of 2 years. She was married to Paul M. Becker, November 3, 1908; to that union three children were born–Fern Emily, Maude Eleanor, and Dorothy Pauline.
She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her children, her father and mother, four brothers and four sisters, all of them present excepting one brother who is on his way to France in the U. S. service.
During her last illness she gave her heart to Christ and expressed a clear belief that she was saved.
The funeral was conducted at Telocaset by Rev. C. C. Pratt, Saturday, June 29, 1918.
